SMOOTHIE

Here is my go-to smoothie recipe.  You are supposed to use a different green everyday, but I use spinach more often than not.  Be sure to use organic spinach as it is one of the most highly pesticide laden vegetables.  I start drinking this around 10am and usually finish the batch by 11am.  I stay full until past 1pm.

Green Smoothie

Lisa’s Go-To Smoothie

3 cups (give or take) organic baby spinach (or other green leaf)

1 big banana, or 2 small bananas

2 cups frozen fruit, defrosted

1/2 English cucumber, chopped

1 cup (give or take) water

Throw everything in a blender or food processor and blend for at least 1 minute or longer to get it really smooth and frothy.  Makes about 4 cups.  Enjoy!
